More information
Its been our dream to be one of the first B&B's to offer a real home from home for dogs. We have taken our first dog away in the past for a weekend to a 'dog friendly B&B' and once we had read through the do's and don'ts, it has ended up to be more fraught than if we had had someone look after him.
We decided that we want to offer something that little bit different We will therefore welcome your dog into our home as if he were our own. We are well aware that some dogs like to sleep with their owners and at Mucky Paws your dog(s) can too, all that we ask is that you use the dog covers we provide in the rooms during your stay.
If you want to pop out for the afternoon to visit Norfolk and the beautiful towns and attractions and know you cant take your dog to your chosen destination, we are happy to dog sit for you, just let know in advance.
So please come to the Mucky Paws Retreat, feel both welcomed and relaxed and let us get to cuddle and fuss even more of our four legged friends.

Dog friendly places
There are so many activities that you can enjoy with your owner in the beautiful county of Norfolk including:

Dog friendly beaches:
Most Norfolk beaches allow dogs. You may have restricted areas around the major resorts, but walk half-a-mile in either direction and the restriction is usually lifted. Restrictions apply from May to the end of October. The best places in our experience are the empty beaches at Old Hunstanton and on the East NorfolkCoast at Sea Palling, Horsey and Winterton on Sea. The North Norfolk Coast has many nature reserves, bu tHolkham Bay is excellent for dog walking and you could also try Cromer beach.
